Everything is Ours

Project for the Princeton Filmmaking Progam. 

Everything is Ours is about the stories of a place and a history of a family. In this project, I interviewed the members of my family that either live in Lazow, Poland, or have lived there in the past. When I was ten, my parents and I moved into our grandparents' home for a few years, and my memories of those years remain dreamlike. In the process of making this film, it was striking to me that one place could contain many hidden moments of beauty, some of them only revealed through the sharing of stories. Story telling has always been a gift amongst my family members, and each member contributed to preserving the collective memory of Lazow in this film.
