Aesthetics of “Oil”

This project served as research into the aethetics of the material and word of “oil.” I poured oil on the grounds of Princeton University, an investor in the oil and gas industry. The oil mixed with rain water and the asphalt on the ground to great interesting natural forms, with psychadelic colors. 

This project inspired the color choices of my final senior exhibition “Mycoremediation.”
